Kate Winslet Has ‘Best’ Celebrity Body

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

A new survey has revealed that the most desirable celebrity body belongs to English Rose Kate Winslet, reports safedietpills.co.uk

The study,  saw 16% of British women vote for Oscar winner Winslet, who narrowly beat the shapely Kelly Brook who secured 15% of the votes.

It appears super skinny celebs are out at the start of 2010 as Victoria Beckham and  Kate Moss finished bottom of the poll of 2,000 women.

Former Casualty actress Rebecca Wheatley, who won Slimming World woman of the year after shedding more than 12 stone, believes there is a shift in people’s perception of what is attractive especially for women.

“It is fantastic to see that finally women seem to be aspiring towards a healthy body shape that is realistic and achievable,” she said.

“Kate Winslet has always spoken out about the importance of accepting your body. After all, healthy women come in all sizes.

“It is definitely a step forward that rather than persuading women to set their sights on being super thin, which can lead to misery when they fail to achieve their target, more celebrities are encouraging inner confidence and a positive body image and showing women how they can be happy with their shape.

Former Bond beauty Halle Berry was third, followed by Cheryl Cole and Beyonce in fourth and fifth respectively.

Dr Jacquie Lavin who commissioned the YouGov poll, added: “It shows a positive shift that women are more likely to see Kate Winslet and Kelly Brook as the ideal body shape rather than Kate Moss or Victoria Beckham.

“It perhaps suggests that it is not being ’skinny’ that is most important to them anymore, it is being healthy.”

If you are looking to kick start the new year with weight loss, why not have a look at our advice on the best ways to fight the fat in 2010.

Stress Leads To Weight Gain In Women

Saturday, December 12th, 2009

A new report has found that excessive levels of stress in women can result in weight gain, reports safedietpills.co.uk

When you experience stressful situations your body often goes into survival mode.

This can result in metabolism slow down, an increase in calories stored (for fuel) and cortisol and leptin-the stress hormones-are dumped in the abdominal region, adding to weight gain.

The study, published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, showed the waist increasing effects of stress.

Although men’s waistlines were also affected, women were more likely to be effected by different types of stress.

In addition to money and job problems that affected sexes, relationship difficulties, and the feeling of being trapped inflamed woman’s weight.

Warning signs to be wary of, include a craving for carbohydrate foods, including pasta, chocolate and crisp. These foods increase levels of serotonin that have a calming effect on mood.

To combat stress, exercise is an excellent option, as it boosts levels of the feel good hormone endorphins.

However, high levels of stress can also make you feel lethargic, so you might require an additional energy booster.

Acai Berry slimming pills have been shown to provide an energy boost and also a comprehensive body detox.

Whilst detox will assist initial weight loss, effects will only be short term. Acai Berry Select is different.

In addition to acai, it also contains proven weight loss ingredients, such as green tea extract.

Walking The Dog Better Than The Gym

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

New research has shown that dog owners get more exercise than people with gym memberships, reports safedietpills.co.uk

On average, people with pooches walk their dogs twice a day for 24 minutes each time. That equates to over five and a half hours per week. The survey was conducted by pet healthcare experts Bob Martin.

In addition, the average dog walker takes their pet out for 3 long walks a week, adding an extra two and a half hours to the total.

People without dogs spend an average of just under an hour and a half per week exercising by hitting the gym or going for a jog or a walk.

Even more disturbing is that just under 50% who don’t own dogs admit they don’t exercise at all!

A spokesman for Bob Martin said: ‘A couple of short walks a day soon adds up and this research shows that it amounts to more time than people spend in the gym.’

The study of 5,000 Britons, including 3,000 dog owners, revealed that 57 per cent see walking the dog as their main form of exercise.

More than three quarters say they would rather take their pooch for a hike than go to the gym.

Some 86% say they enjoy taking their pet out each day, with just 22 per cent saying they ever see it as a chore.

But only 16% say they enjoy exercising in the gym, with almost 70% considering it a chore they have to do rather than something they would like to do.

The research revelaed that having a dog encourages regular exercise, with 60% of owners admitting they always walk their dogs even when time is sparse.

Meanwhile just under half of gym users admit they often find excuses to get out of lifting weights.

At safedietpills.co.uk we understand motivating yourself to exercise can be difficult and time consuming, so anything that helps in your battle with the bulge must be good!

If you are struggling for motivation there are supplements available that can boost your energy levels whlist also assisting weight loss.

Weight Loss Drug Targets Body Not Brain

Thursday, November 26th, 2009

Scientists in Australia claim to have developed a weight loss supplement that has shown potential to change the way the body uses fat, reports safedietpills.co.uk

Researchers from the Garvin Institute of Medical Research believe that the new pill can control weight gain in mice by preventing the body receiving signals from the brain.

The majority of weight loss drugs, such as Acai Berry Select, Proactol and Unique Hoodia prevent the brain from sending hunger signals to the body.

The Head of neuroscience at the Garvin Institute, Professor Herbert Herzog, believes, however that these therapies do have some limitations.

“”What we’ve found is that blocking one system that influences appetite and body weight regulation might not be enough to cause a significant change in reducing body weight,” he said.

“If you take one signal away, others take over.”

As a result researchers sought to reverse the traditional approach and prevent the body from receiving hunger signals from the brain.

In addition to acting as an appetite suppressant, the pill also acts a fat burner.

“The body can decide if it uses fatty acids or protein for generating energy. So if one can direct the body to use more fatty acids, which is stored in fat tissue, then the reduction of body weight might be greater,” Professor Herzog said.

The drug has shown to be successful on mice, with results showing that body fat was reduced whilst muscle mass remained the same.

“It will definitely improve the effects of losing weight by a normal diet,” Professor Herzog said.
“This might not be really suitable for extremely obese people, but for moderately obese people, it might be a real alternative.”

Unfortunately, at least 3 years of further research will be necessary before human trials can be conducted on this diet pill.

In the mean time, if you are interested in supplements that have clinical evidence to prove their effectiveness, help is at hand.

Proactol is a 100% natural and organic weight loss supplement, which is medically certified to bind up to 28% of the fat you consume.

Described by the Daily Express as the “key in the fight against obesity”, Proactol is side effect free and can reduce you calorific intake by up to 500 calories per day!

Calorie Eating Levels May Be Wrong

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

The calorie counts which have been used as the basis of diet plans and guidance on healthy eating for the previous 18 years could be wrong a new study has found, reports safedietpills.co.uk

The study found that the recommended daily intake of calories could be increased by an additional 16%, a draft report by the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition said.

At current levels, women are told to consume a maximum of 2,000 calories whilst men are recommended 2,500 calories per day.

Members of the committee stressed, however, that people should eat more only if they exercise more, given rising levels of obesity.

The panel claim its report is a far more accurate assessment of how energy can be burnt off through physical exercise.

If the additional 16% were taken into consideration, adults would be allowed to consume an additional 400 calories per day. That equates to a 5oz grilled steak, oven chips and a salad.

The initial findings were leaked to the Times and The Grocer magazine. After a three and a half month consultation period, final recommendations will then be made.

Food health campaigners believe the Department of Health and the Food Standards Agency may well seek to “sweep the report under the carpet” in an attempt to avoid sending out mixed messages during an obesity epidemic.

Tam Fry, of the National Obesity Forum, said it was a “dangerous assumption” to say that adults could safely consume an extra 400 calories a day.

This is not a green light to eat yourself silly,” he said.

Fitness Fanatics Face Infertility

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

How much time do you spend in the gym? Most of us will say not enough!

A new study has revealed that too much time in the gym could affect a woman’s fertility, reports safedietpills.co.uk

Scientists found that daily exercise or exercising to the point of exhaustion made fertility problems three times more likely.

Please don’t be mistaken; our experts all agree that a certain amount of exercise has obvious benefits. Too much, however, saps the body’s energy supply it requires for successful pregnancy.

The findings were published by the University of Science and Technology in Norway after a study of 3000 women. Research has previously shown that certain professional female athletes struggle to fall pregnant, but now it seems some sporty non-professionals may also suffer the same fate.

The study questioned women about the frequency, duration and intensity of their fitness regimes between 1984 and 1986. In a follow up ten years on, they were then questioned about their pregnancies.

The Lead researcher Sigridur Lara Gudmundsdottir said: “Among all these women, we found two groups who experienced an increased risk of infertility.

There were those who trained almost every day, and there were those who trained until they were completely exhausted. Those who did both had the highest risk of infertility.”

The study took other factors into consideration, such as age, weight, marital status and smoking into consideration, but regardless, those who trained hardest were still three times more like to have fertility issues than those who exercised moderately.

It appears that younger women were more venerable. In the under 30s who exercised the most, a quarter were not able to conceive during their first year of trying. This was in comparison to the national average of seven per cent.

The negative effects, however, of punishing routines did not appear permanent. “The vast majority of women in the study had children in the end,” Gudmundsdottir said.

Gudmundsdottir advised that women who want babies should still maintain their fitness - but “ease off a bit” and avoid extremes. “We believe it is likely that physical activity at a very high or very low level has a negative effect on fertility, while moderate activity is beneficial,” she said.

At Safedietpills.co.uk we encourage moderate exercise and healthy eating as the recommended course to follow if you are trying to lose weight.

Rather than extreme exercise we would recommend using a product such as Proactol, which is completely natural and organic. It prevents almost 30% of the fats you eat being absorbed into your body and will additionally reduce appetite.

Weight loss supplements are not all the same and not all are right for you. For those who are looking for an all natural supplement there are plenty of products available.

However, not all of them are 100% natural, 100% organic and virtually 100% side effect free.

Not all of them can boast that their product is capable of eliminating harmful fat and bad cholesterol from the body while not interfering with proper digestion.

Read Proactol Review In FullNot all products on the market can say that they help you lose weight and keep it off. There is such a product and it is clinically proven to be safe and effective to use.

That product is Proactol.

Proactol is an all natural fat binding compound made up of two complex fiber molecules, one soluble and one non-soluble.

The soluble molecule is viscous and thick helping you to feel full after a healthy meal. This molecule helps to decrease glucose absorption.

This unwanted glucose normally gets transformed into fat but instead gets discarded by the body preventing weight gain. The second fiber molecule is non-soluble.

These special molecules actually seek out and attach to harmful fat molecules making them too large for the body to digest. As a result unwanted fat molecules and harmful cholesterol are excreted from the body as waste never entering the blood stream and causing harm to your body.

Proactol is a clinically proven safe product and guarantees a 28% reduction in dietary fat. By consulting with your doctor and participating in a healthy diet and exercise program, Proactol will not only help you lose weight but help keep you healthy in the process.

By eliminating harmful toxins in the body before they are ever digested you will be able to avoid al of the harmful side effects caused by obesity such as high cholesterol levels, diabetes and heart disease just to name a few. To get the best results from Proactol talk to your doctor.

Consulting with a physician is important when taking any weight loss medication. Your physician will be the one who monitors your progress. He or she will be able to tell if you are losing weight too slowly or too quickly. They will also be able to give you some good advice on how to eat right and help you to count your calories.

A good doctor will inform you of any possible conflicts when taking other prescription medicines. Although Proactol is safe to use you should be careful when taking other prescription medications and make sure you read instructions carefully. Once you have done this you should start seeing results and you will be on your way to looking fit and fabulous in no time.

“I would have to say that even though there are plenty of weight loss products on the market to choose from there are very few which can deliver 100% natural, 100% organic, top quality ingredients. Proactol is such a product. Lots of hard work, intense medical research, and clinical trials have gone into making Proactol the successful product it is today.”

Curvatrim Pills Just Don’t Cut It

curvatrim-does-not-give-you3

There are numerous weight loss pills, diet pills and fat loss aids on the market, that have been created  to help you achieve your long term weight loss goals.

There really are some fantastic products out there which can help you to do just that.

Unfortunately for every great pill there are ten that won’t work and could be potentially dangerous. These are the supplements that promise unrealistic results in a short space of time. They will claim that with these products you will never have to change the way that you eat or incorporate exercise into your routine. All you have to do is take their one little pill and your weight loss worries are over.

Curvatrim is one such product that makes such claims. The makers of Curvatrim market  some pretty explosive promises about not only the amounts of weight that you could lose while taking their product but about other ways that your life will improve as a result of making Curvatrim a part of your daily life.

For example, Curvatrim promises customers that when you take their product not only will you instantly begin shedding pounds, but that your breast size will be enhanced as well. Really?

Indeed, another great claim that Curvatrim makes is that for those of you looking to add a little lift to the libido, then Curvatrim can help you out there as well. So wait a minute, let’s establish what this miracle pill can do for you.  Not only does Curvatrim help me to lose weight, but it can also make my breasts larger and give me sex drive like never before? Well then sign me up!
All of this really would be fantastic if it were true.

Unfortunately, there is no real research available to prove that what the makers of Curvatrim are saying is true. There is no evidence to back up what Curvatrim promises, so this is one that is best left on the shelf.

With the proper diet and exercise routine, you really can lose weight. You can even find a reputable supplement to help make your weight loss efforts even more effective. But Curvatrim is not the one that is going to help you to achieve the body you desire. These manufacturers make some pretty wild claims, but none of which they can live up to. This is certainly  a product that you should  avoid. Please check our Safe Diet Pills for further advice.
