Jennifer Aniston Baby Food Diet

Former friends star Jennifer Aniston is reportedly on a ‘baby food’ diet in order to stay trim before she shoots her next movie, reports Safedietpills.co.uk

People Unaware Of ‘Waist Fat’ Risk

Just under 90% of people don’t know about the risks involved of carrying additional fat around the waistline, reports safedietpills.co.uk

The study, conducted by GlaxoSmithKline, the makers of the first FDA pill approved over the counter pill Alli, interviewed 12,000 people across Europe.

The survey found that the vats majority had no idea that a thick waist was a sign of a buildup of a dangerous type of fat around the internal organs.

The study  said that this “viscersal fat” was strongly linked with type 2 diabetes and heart disease. The survey found that once people were aware of such risks, they would lose weight.

The author of the study, Dr Terry Maguire a senior Lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast, said that people were ignorant of the fact that visceral fat, which you cannot see or feel and which sits around organs, exists or that it poses a threat.

Scientists believe that this type of fat is related to the release of proteins and hormones that can result in inflammation that can damage arteries and enter the liver, effecting how the body breaks down sugars and fats.

Rather worryingly, just 25% of those questioned believed that being overweight was a threat to long term health.

“Most overweight people still see themselves as having a body image issue not a health problem and they need to understand the health benefits of weight loss as well as the cosmetic results,” Dr Maguire revealed.

When quizzed on losing weight, 65% of respondents said they would try and lose weight in the new year.

The report’s co-author, Professor David Haslam, chair of the UK National Obesity Forum, warned, however,  that steady sustainable weight loss is the best method for long term sustainable weight loss.

He warned that ‘crash diets’ were doomed to fail and that “they can actually do more harm than good”.

The survey was commisioned by the makers of Alli, the first FDA approved weight loss supplement sold over the counter.

Fitness Fanatics Face Infertility

A new study has revealed that too much time in the gym could affect a woman’s fertility, reports safedietpills.co.uk

Scientists found that daily exercise or exercising to the point of exhaustion made fertility problems three times more likely.

Please don’t be mistaken; our experts all agree that a certain amount of exercise has obvious benefits. Too much, however, saps the body’s energy supply it requires for successful pregnancy.

The findings were published by the University of Science and Technology in Norway after a study of 3000 women. Research has previously shown that certain professional female athletes struggle to fall pregnant, but now it seems some sporty non-professionals may also suffer the same fate.

The study questioned women about the frequency, duration and intensity of their fitness regimes between 1984 and 1986. In a follow up ten years on, they were then questioned about their pregnancies.

The Lead researcher Sigridur Lara Gudmundsdottir said: “Among all these women, we found two groups who experienced an increased risk of infertility.

There were those who trained almost every day, and there were those who trained until they were completely exhausted. Those who did both had the highest risk of infertility.”

The study took other factors into consideration, such as age, weight, marital status and smoking into consideration, but regardless, those who trained hardest were still three times more like to have fertility issues than those who exercised moderately.

It appears that younger women were more venerable. In the under 30s who exercised the most, a quarter were not able to conceive during their first year of trying. This was in comparison to the national average of seven per cent.

The negative effects, however, of punishing routines did not appear permanent. “The vast majority of women in the study had children in the end,” Gudmundsdottir said.

Gudmundsdottir advised that women who want babies should still maintain their fitness - but “ease off a bit” and avoid extremes. “We believe it is likely that physical activity at a very high or very low level has a negative effect on fertility, while moderate activity is beneficial,” she said.
